Rush for venue space as delayed events look for new dates
Headlines during 2020 in the height of the pandemic that bemoaned the fate of the events industry are all set to change in 2021 as businesses rush to restart marketing and events campaigns.
Venues that struggled to sell space during the crisis are becoming over-whelmed with requests for meeting and conference facilities with availability for dates stretching out beyond April and May 2021.
In-person events still a great way to connect
As lock-down restrictions are lifted, companies are eager to reconnect with their customers and prospects. Despite the acceptance of on-line video and webinars over the past months, face-to-face meetings and events are still seen by many as the best way to connect with people.
Venue capacity limited by social distancing requirements
At the same time delegates still want to follow the social distancing rules they became used to and to see that venue staff adhere to safety measures.
